The Cincinnati West SC goalkeeper training program is under the direction of the CWSC Goalkeeper Training Director, Rod Fielden.   Building on the past success of this program, Rod has developed a new format in which to better serve the developmental needs of goalkeepers of the club.

This program is designed to instruct, challenge, and identify players that wish to become better goalkeepers.  All goalkeepers, full time or part-time, are encouraged to be a part of this program. Coaches are encouraged to allow their goalkeepers to attend these sessions in addition to or as a part of their regularly scheduled practices.

The program is focused to meet the needs of all goalkeepers, whether they are experienced or new to the position. Each session all GK trainers will be present to instruct the group that attends. The staff will divide the players in a way to focus on their individual fundamental needs. 

 

**It is vital that Goal Keepers attend each week, as there will be a set curriculum provided by Rod**

 

2025 FALL - GOALKEEPER TRAINING SCHEDULE:

Location: CWSC Training Facility (August) and Valley Junction (September/October)

      CWSC Training Facility: 7711 Harrison Ave. Cleves, OH 45002

Days: Sundays

Times/Dates: 

     AGE GROUPS: 2011-2016

          TIME: 6:30-7:30pm

          DATES: August 17th-October 19th

     AGE GROUPS 2017-2019

           TIME: 5:45-6:30pm

           DATES: every other Sunday (8/17, 8/31, 9/14, 9/28, 10/12)

**GK training is being offered on Sundays this evening so that players can still attend their regular training sessions during the week. Even if your child has a game on the weekend, they can still come to GK training to get their specialty training for their position**
