Kevin has been an active and long-time / life-long member of CWSC.  Kevin originally played in Delhi Soccer Club and then with Cincinnati West Soccer Club since its inception in 2003, having played within the club and its predecessor from u9 thru u18, competing on the club’s top team in both CUSL and Buckeye as well as in State Cup and regional tournaments.  Kevin is a perfect example of the success of the CWSC model and CWSC’s core values, playing and developing his game, going on to play at a very high level and then also giving back to the game and CWSC family as a soccer educator and leader:

-      As a player, he achieved success in club soccer playing with CWSC’s top premier level boys team for over 10 years.  Kevin also was a successful player at Oak Hills High School, where he was a team captain and was voted Best Offensive Player both his junior and senior years.  From his CWSC experience, Kevin also went on to a successful collegiate career, playing at NCAA Div. II Urbana University as well as NCAA Div. III powerhouse Thomas More College.  Kevin still plays at a high competitive level as player/coach of the CWSC men’s CPL amateur team in the Cincinnati Premier League, giving Kevin the unique expertise of today’s game as both player and coach.

-      While playing, Kevin added refereeing to his soccer resume.  Kevin has refereed all ages and levels within the club soccer world, and also has worked college, high school and adult level matches.

-      Also while playing in college, Kevin began his coaching and training career.  Kevin has been a trainer for several years, and has trained CWSC players of all ages and skill levels, has run age group and specialized training programs and leads camps and club player tryouts.  Kevin has also coached both boys and girls teams of all ages and levels, and currently is the head coach of the club’s top girls U9 and boys u17 teams.  He also holds a USSF Coaching License.

Kevin also is a leader in the local high school soccer community, with coaching experience on both the women’s and the men’s programs at Oak Hills High School, and Kevin is currently the Walnut Hills Girls Varsity Head Coach.  He resides on the westside as well.
