Cincinnati West Soccer Club (CWSC) and Cincinnati Christian University (CCU) are happy to team up to float soccer balls down the Amazon River. Not literally, but the soccer balls will be used along the Amazon River in Brazil as part of a mission
trip by several CCU students.  The students
plan on using the donated soccer balls to help communicate with the children in villages along the Amazon River.  This mission trip was organized, planned, and funded by the students themselves.  Adina Bailey (Team Manager for CCU Women's Soccer Team) and former Men's CCU player Nate Fite were the conduit between CWSC and CCU joining forces in this effort.  CWSC was glad to help support their cause by donating the dozen balls and several dozen T-shirts to be given to the people they meet on their journey.  The students will be leaving June 9.  Good luck to the entire group of students on their month long journey.
