Chelsey Ball commits to Cincinnati State: 
 
Chelsey Ball a Senior at Seton High will be continuing her Soccer play at Cincinnati State. Chelsey played for Seton her freshman year, and was big part of the JV team moving up to the varsity squad often as the season progressed.  From that point on, being encouraged to continue her High School soccer, Chelsey chose to persue club soccer and did with great resolve. 
 
Chelsey is an original member of our Velocity squad. Her work ethics in this game are outstanding. Chelsey is one of those players that work hard at 'every' touch. Her team mates have always looked to her for leadership. Chelsey has been our Velocity teams leading scorer for the past couple seasons. She really made it evident at our Championship run in the College Coca Cola Classic tournament. What a break out she had there.
 
Chelsey spent allot of time as our attacking center mid in our 4-4-2 system of play, and as a fprward. Yet she is a strong capable player anywhere on the pitch. Chelsey goes to the ball hard, and has great finess as a finisher. Some players just have that knack of putting the ball in the back of the net, Chelsey is one of those players! And on defense, when she wins the ball, she is the style of player that puts fear in an oponent when attacking by running the ball right at you, with confidence, well developed foot work, and strength. Congratulations Chelsey!  
 
Being involved and understanding college recruiting, this is the type of siging that just tickles me. Coach Cagle, who is a fantastic young man and coach, is going to find he has landed some capable player. Chelsey had several colleges trying to get her attention. She really is the stuff allot of D2 schools and maybe even the right D1 school look for. Her goal was to stay as close to home as she could, and she has found a Great place to play. In her words, she fell in love woth everything at Cincinnati state.
 
Chelsey Ball is the type of player, that when she steps on the pitch, our team automatically becomes a better team!  Go get em' kid!
